What time is Check In/Check Out?Our check in is at 3pm. If you reserved your room directly through us, your check in process is contactless! You'll receive your registration form to fill out via text or email on your arrival date. Once you have that filled out, you'll receive your digital room key! You're good to head over to the hotel any time after 3pm to access your room! If you made a reservation through another website such as Expedia or Booking.com you'll need to check in at the Front Desk located inside the main lodge. Our staff is available to check you in from 3pm - 9pm, after 9pm please use our after hours phone to contact a crew member to get checked in. Check out is 11am daily.

Do you have an elevator?We are proud to be a historic hotel, cherishing the charm and character that comes with our heritage. However, this also means we have some unique quirks, such as the absence of an elevator. If you reserve a stateroom on our second floor, please be aware that you'll need to navigate stairs with your luggage.

Is the Anchor Inn Resort an oceanfront hotel?Oh, we wish we could say yes, but alas, the Anchor Inn Resort is not an oceanfront hotel. However, it still has plenty of charm and fantastic amenities to enjoy!

I don't have a smart phone, will I be able to get a key?Yes! We are happy to issue you a card key to access your room. Just swing by our lobby during office hours.

Do you have rooms big enough for my family?Yes! We have 3 options on rooms that can sleep 6! Cabin 1, Cabin 13, and Stateroom 207 are all large suites with more than one bedroom.

Do you have a pool, hot tub, or sauna?As much as we'd love to offer a splashy good time, we don't have a pool, hot tub, or sauna. But we promise there's still plenty of fun to be had!

What should I do if I'm arriving late?If arriving after 9PM, please call the Innkeeper at (541) 921-0697 before 5pm. We will give you further instructions.

What do I do if I have a question and the lobby is closed?Right outside the main lodge front doors you will find a phone booth. Simply pick up the red phone, and one of our crew members will help you out. Or you can call (541) 921-0697 and the onsite crew members will assist you.

Are you pet friendly?YES! We love our furry friends! We do have set rooms that are designated pet friendly rooms, so make sure you're looking for those when you are making your reservation. Our Pet policy can be found here. The fee for pets is $30.00 per pet, and we only allow two pets per room.

Do you have free Wi-Fi?Yes, you can find more information about our Wi-Fi and how to get online in your guest room.

Do you offer complimentary breakfast?We unfortunately we do not offer a complimentary breakfast. However, you can find a delightful selection of breakfast goodies at our Honor Bar, along with a complimentary coffee station in the lobby area. To make a purchase at the Honor Bar, simply choose the items you desire and use the provided envelopes to deposit the cash payment into the deposit box located next to the Honor Bar. How do I get to the beach?We have two public beach access points close to the Anchor Inn Resort. Taft Public Beach Access #48 on Beach Ave will bring you to a large set of stairs down to the beach. If you have any mobility issues, we do not suggest this route. This area of the beach is perfect for long walks, finding tide pools, flying kites, and playing in the waves! You walk through a beautiful coastal neighborhood before arriving at the steps. Walking Directions to Taft Beach Access #48 Follow the signs on the Anchor Inn Resort property that say "to Beach" Turn LEFT onto SW coast Ave from the Anchor Inn Property Turn RIGHT onto SW 48th St Turn RIGHT onto SW Beach Ave Look for a walkway on your left with stairs leading down to the ocean. Click here to send these directions to your phone. Taft Waterfront Park Beach Access is right next to Mo's seafood and Chowder. You'll find better access here if you have any mobility issues. Plus you can enjoy Siletz Bay Pier. The beach is great for enjoying Siletz Bay, spying on sea lions, crabbing, fishing off the pier, and bird watching. Kids enjoy playing in the shallower water during low tide!
